Britta Jürgens and Matthew Griffin found an undeveloped space on the border of their forested property and as they are both creative by profession, built a guest house as they completed their own family home. The result is a unique beauty of modern architecture and has earnt the pair a bundle of awards.

"Guests stay in a great fusion of hotel and apartment-house right next to the owners. Classic design is shown in the old building components, contrasted with new building components. Behind these are revealing ceiling-high windows that offer a great outlook, whilst limiting sight into the rooms. The lofts are between 30 and 50 square meters and are incredibly comfortable."
