(What did you like about the Minilofts?)" In a word: everything! They're convenient, comfortable and quite smartly furnished. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen area - it had every need covered without overwhelming the space -- and the spiral notebook of maps, walks and tourist suggestions....

Matthew on TV: Berlin after the wall

Architecture

CNN recently asked Matthew Griffin, one of the architects and owners of Minilofts (along with his wife, Britta Jürgens) to share his local architecture expertise.

In the video segment Berlin After the Wall, Matthew explains modern architectural developments in Berlin in the past 20 years, with stops at the Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, and Hauptbahnhof. Click here to see it!

A visit to the government quarter and the top of Norman Foster's beautiful glass dome atop the Reichstag, with its wide views over the city, is a highlight any visit to Berlin. It's an easy walk from the Miniloft apartments down to Hauptbahnhof, through the government quarter to Brandenburg Gate, then over to Potsdamer Platz.
