The Wall fell 20 years ago on November 9th, and Berlin is gearing up for a big celebration. There will be the standard party at Brandenburg Gate, including free U2 concert (sorry, tickets were snapped up within minutes!), but for an event with less pomp but more circumstance, check out the Mauer Mob: for fifteen minutes, a chain of people will use their bodies to recreate the path of the Berlin Wall (which is 33 kilometers long, incidentally). Sign up on their website, www.mauer-mob.com to reserve a prime spot and join in on this "temporary monument of reflection". The Minilofts are just a few hundred metres from where the Wall once stood.
