For information at a more personal level we suggest you contact a local volunteer Miniloft ambassador. Miniloft ambassadors have enjoyed staying here and will gladly share their own experiences and impressions, directly with you in your native language.

Elizabeth is originally from New Zealand and now lives in the United States, where she is a Professor in Women’s Studies at Emory University.

Prior to coming to the US she lived in Sydney for 20 years, where she did her graduate training in psychology.

She misses the great food in Sydney, but is happy to be living closer to Central America and Europe. In recent years she has travelled to Shanghai, St Petersburg, Palermo, Hanoi, Mexico City and Havana.

Berlin is one of her favourite cities to visit: she loves the art, the swimming pools, the bread, the classical music, the local designers and the architecture.

Jackson has his Masters and is a biologist and environmental administrator in Santos, Brazil.

In his work he is responsible for the coordination of the application of the International Norms ISO 14.001 and SA 8000.

Jackson’s interests are sustainable development, theory of complex ecosystems, ecotoxicology, dogs, and traveling, among others. His hobby is photography.

Paul is from London and studied Film & TV Production and has a small company, 'Spellbound'.

He is developing several TV drama series, some movie ideas and doing some creative writing for other clients.

He likes movies, art, music, theatre, fashion, architecture,travel and gym training/swimming. (Actually he doesn't like the last two, but they're good for his health!)
