Minilofts is a small, family-run apartment hotel. We enjoy and take pride in the personal relationship we have with our guests.

Eleanor Villforth

Speaks: English, German, Spanish

The miniloft manager, grew up on an island off the coast of Maine U.S.A. and moved to Berlin in 2005.

She works part time at the Exberliner, the English language magazine for Berlin - so she always knows what’s going on in town.

Stephan Takkides

Speaks: English, German

The assistant miniloft manager from London is an artist working in new media.

He knows the Berlin art scene well and can give you tips on the latest exhibitions.

Britta jürgens

Speaks: German, English

A German country girl, left her village (see country photo by Matthew in Miniloft lobby) to work as an architect in London – she returned after the wall came down to a reunited, exciting Berlin.

Matthew Griffin

Speaks: English, German, some Italian and French

An expatriate Canadian architect, he was born in New Zealand. When not in the office he is a passionate photographer.

The miniloft mascot and permanent resident can often be found lounging in the office.

Please do not let him outside, and if he goes somewhere he shouldn’t, just let us know and we will pick him up.
