Its new special exhibition "Deadly Medicine" repels but also intrigues. It revisits the decade during which the National Socialist regime made the race issue the key theme of its health and demographic policy, which led to the forced sterilization of 400,000 people and the murder of 210,000 handicapped and mentally ill in Germany and Austria alone.
