The former dead zone where the Berlin Wall once stood is being creatively rebuilt – a Wall memorial and museum, new buildings galore, and … beach volleyball courts? Why not? Just a five-minute walk from your Miniloft apartment, 59 sandy outdoor courts are available for play day and night. They’re rapidly gaining in popularity among Berliners, but the sheer number of courts means there’s usually no problem in strolling up and booking a court. You can even take private lessons, or chill out between games in the lounge and outdoor 'beach bar'.
