We're already excited for Christmas in Berlin! Only one week left until most of the Christmas Markets open for the holiday season, bringing light and warmth to the dark Berlin winter days. There are several lovely markets within walking distance or a short train ride from your Miniloft apartment. The most famous is perhaps the 'Christmas Magic' market at Gendarmenmarkt, one of Berlin's loveliest squares, with high-quality crafts, a stage for magic shows, ballet and other performances, and delicious treats like potato pancakes, grilled sausages and Glühwein (hot spiced wine). The market at Potsdamer Platz has a fun tubing hill and skating rink, and the market at Winterfeldplatz in Schöneberg takes place every Sunday until Christmas.
