Distinguished guests of Miniloft Berlin are in plentiful supply, not that we would generally kiss and tell. But we had to share the news that we’ve got a great band called Spaceships are cool soon to be staying with us.
Reason number one we are sharing is that they are playing at the 4th Melodica festival in Berlin, an acoustic and folk free for all (literally free for all – although they do welcome donations) that will be taking over The Urban Spree Galerie on the 5th and 6th of October. The line up is thoughtful but also incredibly international – alongside spaceships are cool, there are artists arriving from Reykjavik, New York, Aarhus, Sydney & Beirut.
Reason number two is that they happen to originate from Andy’s (our manager) university town of Nottingham, and he gets exceptionally nostalgic about those glory days, particularly as he went to several spaceships are cool gigs.
