According to the statistics, the fact of Berlin being a vegan paradise is one of the reasons why some people is attracted to visit the German capital. We have also mentioned the Berlin-Vegan App in our post „Berlin’s Best Apps“, where you can see all the vegan options in one map.
According to another app „Happy Cow“, Berlin is the number one vegan destination with 471 restaurants to cater for vegans, followed by Amsterdam, London and Milan.
We cannot list all 471 restaurants but we can leave you some of our top recommendations:
1 - Dada Falafel
This small middle eastern restaurant is known for having the best falafel in Berlin. It is located just a few minutes walking from Miniloft, just in front of the old squats/art house Tacheles?.

2 - Alaska
Vegan Spanish tapas? Yes, it is possible in Neukölln. Alaska bar is a totally vegan place and they organise fun events such as tarot readings, concerts, vegan food pop-up events on Thursdays such as Pad Thais or Arepas, as well as the delicious vegan Chocolate con churros event on Sundays.
3 - Kopps
Also near Miniloft, on Linienstraße, you will find something for every palate: from fine soups to beetroot ravioli and various delicious desserts. All their ingredients are fresh and grown locally.
Do not miss their brunch on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays from 9:30 am to 4 pm, for 15 euro per person.
4 – Lucky Leek
Our last tip commands a visit to Prenzlauer Berg, after all, Lucky Leek is a vegan reference in Berlin. You can have an amazing 3 course menu for 35 Euro or a 5 course menu for 55, and buy one of the books from their Chef, Josita Hartanto.
