It doesn't happen too often that a world famous artist creates a work of wonder right on your doorstep, but that's exactly what happened just a few months ago.
James Turrell, US light artist par excellence has created a beautiful and thoughtful light installation just around the corner from Miniloft at the Dorotheenstädtischer Cemetery I on Chauseestrasse 126.
The Dorotheenstädtischer Cemetery is worth a visit at any time. It is the final resting place of the sculptor of the quadriga atop of the Brandenburg Gate - Johann Gottfried Schadow, as well as the architect of classical Berlin - Karl Friedrich Schinkel and the renowned German writers and dramatists Brecht and Hegel.
