Famous within the medical profession, this museum is not for the squeamish. But for fans of the grotesque and the bizarre, it’s a must-see! As part of Charité hospital, the museum details the history of medicine over the last four centuries, and some of its 750 objects on display (wooden prosthetic limbs, Siamese twin fetuses suspended in jars, a hideously gigantic colon, and many non-gagworthy items as well) date from the Pathological Museum, founded in the 16th century.
